I paint in watercolor and mixed media. I enjoy exploring different subjects. I have my camera with me most of the time to take photos to refer to when I decide to capture my subject on paper. I have so much I want to paint and so little time to do it! I live near the shore of Lake Superior and love the water and how it is constantly changing. I have always lived in the Upper Peninsula and when I am away traveling, it is the Lake that I miss. The beach draws me and the water has such a wonderful calming effect, whether I am just watching it from the shore or in a kayak navigating the waves. They are a part of me and influence my work. I like to use different techniques to achieve interesting paintings. I am constantly learning from instructors and fellow artists to improve my paintings. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it!
