The landscape is my inspiration, and the northern landscape, with its long summer and short winter days, raking light early and late and in spring and fall, deep winter snows, busy summer textures, brilliant autumn colors, endless water, trees and rocks, is my passion. Realistic, impressionistic and abstract imagery – they are all there for the artist to find, feel, interpret and record, and share with the viewer. This is my source, my process and my goal…
